In Hawaii, we often refer to octopus as "tako", which is actually the Japanese word for octopus. But these intelligent creatures are also known as "he'e," the Hawaiian word for octopus, which also means to slide, surf, and slip! Our Tako Tuesday print was designed in collaboration with local artist Suzanne Jennerich, whose art conveys such joy and cheerfulness that it’s as if she captured happiness and placed it on her canvas.
Fabric: 90% Viscose from bamboo, 10% spandex
Care: In order to maintain the quality of our fabric and prevent pilling and/or snagging, separate from other materials such as towels and hardware, like zippers or velcro, during the wash and dry process. Machine wash cold (without bleach), tumble dry on low heat. We also recommend washing your item inside out to preserve the print.

I am so glad I used this dress when I did. Our baby is on the chubby side and the 6-12 month dress for her when she was just shy of 6 months! She’s about 50th percentile weight and 25th percentile length.
I love the way the onesies feel and that they have two directional zippers! There’s a nice amount of stretch, too, so she won’t grow out of them to fast.
We absolutely love the coveralls for nightly pajamas! They are so soft and buttery. We love that their comforting but still very light weight because living in Hawaii it can get hot at nights. A huge reason I love them is because they grow with her so we can get a lot of use out of them.
Love the colors! Especially love the softness and feel of the material used.
We have coveralls in every size except 12-18 and overall the sizing is inconsistent. The honu honi have very short legs compared to the body and arms. I haven’t noticed that in any of our other coveralls. We have a 6-9 month that is the exact same size as our 3-6 month and they are both only slightly smaller than the 9-12 month honu coverall. My 7 month old can comfortably fit in all 3 at the moment, but I’m pretty sure the honu is going to be shorts in the legs by the time he outgrows the rest of it. That being said we LOVE all things coco moon and overlook the inconsistent sizing in these because of the incredible material, adorable print and great quality. You really can’t go wrong with anything coco moon.
